Let’s admit it. Genre crossing… not the same as gender crossing… has become almost prolific these days in the holy quest for originality. Therefore, with all of the boundaries being transversed with games like Deus Ex (action and RPG in one) or the upcoming Warcraft III (RPS and RPG in one), putting games into strict categories has been hard. It will continue to get harder in the future, but Gamespy managed to nail down their choices this year for Games of the Year 2000.
