Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich Reviews

Both LoadedInc and Gaming Illustrated have conjured up reviews for Irrational Games’ Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich. The guys at LoadedInc gave it an overall score of 8.7/10:

Freedom Force vs. the 3rd Reich contains a new story, some new characters and updated graphics. The multiplayer improvements are a nice touch and, ultimately, this is a product worth buying. Unfortunately, it did not blow me away the way the first game did. I had never experienced anything quite like Freedom Force prior to playing the first game. I was hoping to be wowed again. For now, I will just wait to see what the mod community can do to entice me to keep this game on my hard drive.

And Gaming Illustrated gave it an overall score of 92%:

We’ve been playing the game for about 2 weeks now and it is still as much fun today as it was out of the box. The missions are varied, and challenging. Many missions I didn’t succeed the first time and had to reload. It can’t be stated enough that the main strength of FFVTTR is the sheer number of heroes you can use accordingly, you can play the entire campaign (15 missions) and then start over completely with a new set of team members and reply the entire campaign with different strategies and outcomes! This makes the replay factor significantly higher than in our other recently reviewed games.
