The First Class VR – A History of Human Aviation

If there was ever a reason to get a VR headset, this would be it. The First Class VR experience is one like no other. It is a visual and interactive telling of the history of aviation. And what a way to experience it than with your very own eyes! Coming from an up-coming Chinese game developer, Zodiac Interactive, this stunning game looks phenomenal in every way. You can check out the announcement trailer below.

What Does The First Class VR Cover?

This journey through history will take us from the very first flight of the Wright Brothers up to Elon Musk’s Space X. It even promises to show us glimpses of what the future may look like by the looks of the trailer. But, the most exciting part is being able to experience all of these magnificent stories through VR. This is exactly what virtual reality excels at so it is nice to see something that can be both fun and educational coming to the world of VR.

From all the screenshots I’ve seen of the game too it looks like you’ll also get to experience being Icarus, witness the Blitz and fly around in a helicopter. It is certainly an intriguing concept and one I personally wish I could experience.

Influences Of The Game

The Lead Creative Producer at Light & Digital Technology, An Pu tells us just what influenced the development of the game. He stated, “The story you will experience is inspired by the Hugo Awards Best Novel Winner the “Three-Body Problem” by Cixin Liu. We feel very honored that the author Cixin Liu played the game and gave it his blessing.” It will be interesting to see just how well this style of game is received by the wider community but as of now, it looks amazing.

The graphics are (of course) done within the Unreal 4 engine so it is to be expected that it will look stunning. Whether or not the story will be an interesting one to experience; time will tell.

This First Class VR will be out on December 14th on Steam, so if you have a HTC Vive then you should definitely think about this one. And then you can share with us just what your experience was like!
