Fallout 76 Update – Fortifying ATLAS and QuakeCon Details

Fortifying ATLAS is the new community event coming to Bethesda’s multiplayer survival RPG Fallout 76 with the next update. The event will have you delivering supplies to the ATLAS Observatory in return for some unique rewards. This development update for the game shares some additional information about this event, as well as this year’s upcoming QuakeCon. More on that:

Starting in Patch 21 next Tuesday, we’re kicking off a two-part community-wide event, called Fortifying ATLAS. Band together with other Dwellers to deliver supplies to ATLAS Observatory, and everyone will unlock some exciting rewards. Additionally, QuakeCon is going completely digital this year, and we’ve got everything you need to know so that you don’t miss a moment of Fallout goodness during the event. Read on to catch all the details.

FORTIFYING ATLAS: JOIN THE CAUSE AND EARN REWARDS!

The Brotherhood of Steel have set their sights on Appalachia (who hasn’t these days?) and a man named Russell Dorsey believes they’re en route to ATLAS Observatory. Starting August 4, you can join in a community-wide effort to construct a prospective base for the Brotherhood and help unlock new events and cosmetic rewards for everyone.

The Brotherhood are a hardy and resilient bunch, but the Wasteland can be taxing for even the sturdiest among their ranks. When they arrive, they will need to resupply and regroup in a fully established headquarters so that they can begin operations immediately. That’s where YOU come in!

After next week’s patch, travel to ATLAS Observatory in the Savage Divide and meet up with Russell, who just might be the biggest Brotherhood fan in all of Appalachia. He’s heading up supply gathering and construction efforts to herald their return. Over the next few weeks, he will ask everyone to share in delivering an abundance of raw materials to aid in fortifying ATLAS. If the community is able to deliver enough scrap of each type in time, all players will earn in-game rewards, including new Brotherhood of Steel themed cosmetics, a Purveyor Super Sale, a Double S.C.O.R.E. Daily event, and more! Additionally, every time you contribute materials, you will receive “ATLAS Donor’s Provisions,” which you can open from your inventory to receive goodies and a chance at rare Plans.

Fortifying ATLAS will take place in two parts: Project Alpha, starting August 4, and Project Bravo, which starts on August 27. Each Project will have its own supply requirements, collection dates, and rewards. Collection periods for each objective will begin and end at 10:00 a.m. CT on the dates listed below[…]
