Fallout 76 Nuka-Cola Helmet Recalled for Being Toxic

Fallout 76, the joke that keeps on giving. First there was the whole nylon bag debacle, then there were the issues with the game itself, your card details being stolen and now it looks like your health could actually be at risk.

If you purchased the Nuka-Cola edition of Fallout 76 from GameStop you would have received a limited edition Red Power Armour Helmet, while it’s a cool little curio to have you’ll have to part with it soon as all these helmets have been recalled due to toxic mould that may be present in the fabric lining inside the helmet.

The US consumer product safety commission had this to say:

“Mold can be present on the fabric insert inside the helmet, posing a risk of respiratory or other infections in individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mold.”

If you purchased the Nuka-Cola edition GameStop should have already been in contact offering a full refund but if you haven’t heard from them already you can get into contact with them to return the helmet.

For more info on the recall notice feel free to head to the CPSC website which contains the official recall notice.
