Fallout 76 – New Update Incoming

Bethesda’s multiplayer survival RPG Fallout 76 will be getting a new update next week. As opposed to the game’s bigger content updates, this one will be introducing a series fixes for various community-reported issues. On top of that, we’re once again invited to join the game’s Public Test Server, and are told about some weekend events.

Check it out:

Next Tuesday, July 26, we’re planning to release a new update for Fallout 76, and we’re sharing all the details you need to know ahead of patch day. In addition, Purveyor Murmrgh and Minerva are each hosting sales this weekend. Read on to learn more!

NEW UPDATE ARRIVING TUESDAY

We wanted to let you know that we are planning to release a new update for Fallout 76 next week, on Tuesday, July 26. This patch will be smaller than some of our larger updates that bring new content to the game. Primarily, we’re intending to address bugs, including a number of issues that have been reported by the community, like reduced energy weapon durability, incorrect Meat Week rewards, and Grahm wandering away from the grill during his Meat Cook. This update will also bring some new items to the Atomic Shop over the coming weeks.

Additionally, Tuesday’s maintenance will require a little more downtime than our usual target of two to three hours. This is because we’re planning to implement some behind-the-scenes improvements for our processes and services, which we can only do while the game is offline. We’re currently looking to begin maintenance for Fallout 76 at 10:00 a.m. ET on July 26. We will be sure to share updates with you in the Bethesda Studios Discord so that you know precisely when you can log back in.

TAKE ON EXPEDITIONS TO THE PITT IN THE PTS

This week, we wanted to share a reminder with you that the Public Test Server is still rocking and rolling with our next major update, which will bring Expeditions to the game. If you play Fallout 76 on Steam, and you haven’t had the chance to try out Expeditions just yet, then right now is a great time to dive in. Conquer our first two missions in The Pitt, meet new Responders at The Whitespring Refuge, complete Refuge Daily Quests, and try out some new rewards. Once you’ve done a little playtesting, we hope you will share your thoughts and experiences with us, so that we can continue improving on Expeditions and making them the best experiences that we can.

In addition, when you join us for playtesting in a PTS world, you will also unlock a new Pitt-themed pennant for your C.A.M.P. in the live game. We will roll out the pennant to all accounts that earned it in the days following the release of the Expeditions Update later this year.

Stay tuned to our PTS Update Log on Fallout.com and join our PTS channels in the Bethesda Studios Discord to catch all the latest details as we release new updates and improvements for Expeditions in the PTS over the coming weeks.

IN-GAME SALES THIS WEEKEND!

Are your stockpiles of Legendary Scrips and Gold Bullion burning holes in your pockets? If so, there’s plenty of opportunity to shop ‘till you drop this weekend, because starting today, both Purveyor Murmrgh and Minerva are hosting big sales!

Stop by The Purveyor’s shop inside the Rusty Pick in the Ash Heap to level-up your personal armory. When you do, you will get 25% off any legendary weapons and armor you buy using Legendary Scrip. Next, seek out Minerva by finding her at The Crater, Fort Atlas, or Foundation. She’s got a much larger roster of item plans up for trade than usual, so long as you’re willing to part with some of your hard-earned Gold Bullion. Both sales will come to an end at 12:00 p.m. ET on Monday, July 25, so be sure to strike up a few deals with Murmrgh and Minerva by then.

Until next time, we’ll see you in Appalachia.
