Fallout 4 Goes Gold, Fallout-branded Beer Announced

To celebrate October 23rd, the date of the Great War in the Fallout setting, Bethesda Game Studios’ official Twitter account has confirmed that the game has gone gold, and that all the “27 versions” of the game, which presumably include not only the two console and the PC versions, but also all the different localizations and packages, are now ready to go out in the wild in time for the November 10 release. Presumably they’ve been ready for a while, but the announcement was scheduled for this day because of its symbolic importance:

Oct 23rd – the bombs have fallen. Fallout 4 is complete. All 27 versions.

The company also announced a collaboration with Carlsberg to produce a Fallout-branded beer, which will be available ahead of the game’s launch. A cola would have been a more natural fit for the franchise and would also be available to a wider public, so I have to admit I’m a bit confused by this choice:
