Fable: The Lost Chapters Reviews

Three more reviews for Fable: The Lost Chapters surfaced on the web over the past couple of days. The first is at Gamers Europe with an overall score of 8.5/10:

Go buy Fable. This review won’t do it justice and you owe it to yourself to play a decent RPG for once. Fable will occupy its space on your hard drive for months if not years to come.

The second is at Buzzscope with an overall score of “B+”:

Now me personally, I’ve had enough of Fable after the two previous times I played it on Xbox (once as good guy and once as a real jerk) but that’s just me. The new content, including missions and items are however just as high quality as the original content and fits right in. So for many this is an excellent chance to play the game again. Because one thing I can guarantee is that the experience will definitely be different in more ways than one. And for others this is an opportunity to play a unique game for the first time because there still are a few PC game purists out there, somewhere, in a galaxy far, far away.

And the third is at Gamesradar with an overall score of 88%:

Whether your previous RPG experiences are of the modern Western variety (Ultima, Baldur’s Gate), Eastern (Final Fantasy) or nonexistent, Fable The Lost Chapters delivers a novel experience.

Its social systems are a masterpiece of design, and if the story and dialogue tend towards the prosaic, the compelling action and delicious presentation boost the experience far above the ordinary.
