Dying Light 2: Stay Human Developer Update & DLC Sneak Peek

As part of the latest Future Games Show event, Techland’s Tymon Smektała brought us a new developer update for his studio’s zombie survival RPG Dying Light 2: Stay Human. As a result, we now know that the game will be getting a new content update on April 20, 2023, and that it will feature some improvements to the combat system aiming to make it more brutal, physical and rewarding.

The update also previews the game’s new gear transmog system, highlights some community-created maps and promises more mod support in the future, and shares a few images from the game’s next story DLC we should be getting later this year.

Our friends at Techland brought a developer presentation for Dying Light 2 to the Spring Showcase, revealing more about the future of the game, and offering a sneak peek at upcoming story-driven DLC. We also learned that Dying Light 2’s next major game update is coming on April 20th, and bringing more brutality to the game’s combat.
