Dungeons & Dragons Online Gets Steamed

With the release of Menace of the Underdark, Turbine’s Dungeons & Dragons Online has finally made its debut on Steam. You can play it for free, as expected, but if you’re willing to spend a little cash ($9.99 until July 9th), you can pick up a “Half-Orc Pack” to get the ugly-but-perfect-for-melee-characters race, an attribute-boosting trinket, and 1000 Turbine Points. Up your ante to $49.99 and you’ll own the newly released expansion pack, as well.

Exciting stuff. I’m loving the idea of not having to track down the high resolution client from here on out.
