Dungeon Siege III Coming to Europe on June 17th

I’m not sure if this means a delay is coming to North America or if European gamers are just going to have to suffer through a nearly three-week release disparity, but Square Enix has announced plans to launch Dungeon Siege III in Europe and other PAL territories on June 17th.

Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, Inc., and shipping for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC, Dungeon Siege III blends a robust RPG system, an endless variety of loot and a compelling storyline with intuitive action gameplay.

When will publishers realize how important simultaneous or near-simultaneous release schedules are? Not only does it show that you care about your entire fanbase, but it also keeps impatient people from using unscrupulous means to get the game.
