Dragon Age: Origins Return to Ostagar DLC Delay, Part Three

I’m not sure what to make of the whole Return to Ostagar fiasco.  Let me see if I have it straight…

After first promising the addon during “the holiday 2009 season”, BioWare then stayed tight-lipped until December 29th, when a press release reassured us that it was coming on January 5th. Fast forward to the 5th, when we learned of another delay that supposedly placed the addon’s availability at the end of January.

Out of nowhere and with absolutely zero warning, the addon suddenly appeared on the Xbox Live Marketplace this morning, allowing owners of the Xbox 360 version to finally get their hands on it (though reports are that it’s since been pulled). The PC version was promised later today, but as of earlier this evening, the “PC version coming today” text in the announcement thread’s title has mysteriously disappeared. No clarification has been given as of the time of this news post.

We don’t have an official announcement, but I think it’s safe to say that PC and PS3 owners aren’t going to be seeing the addon until sometime tomorrow, at the earliest.
