Dragon Age: Origins Leliana’s Song DLC Reviews

Despite today’s focus on Dragon Age II, we shouldn’t forget that BioWare also released some new DLC for Dragon Age: Origins this week.

IGN gives Leliana’s Song a 7.0/10:

If you already consider Dragon Age to be a thing of the past, Leliana’s Song isn’t enough to make you load the game up again. If, however, Leliana happens to be your favorite character or you’re always willing to play more Dragon Age, then this origin story showing how she wound up joining the Chantry is worth a look. It’s short but packs in a lot of plot twists, fully voiced cut scenes and a number of conversations, as well as experience gain, room to level up, and the opportunity to customize your party to a degree. It’s nothing revolutionary, but a solid addition to the ever expanding stable of adventures in BioWare’s Dragon Age.

And Just Push Start gives it a 4.5/5:

For fans of both Origins and Awakening, Leliana’s Song is a must buy for anyone who is curious to find out the history of Leliana. The DLC is somewhat short, but it is satisfying for anyone who wants to spend more time in Dragon Age: Origins. Let’s hope we will get more of this kind of downloadable content from Bioware in the future.
