Din’s Curse: Demon War Review

We have a new review for you from i-luv-games.com, covering Din’s Curse and its Demon War expansion. No score is given but the reviewer calls it a “very entertaining and enjoyable game”.

If performing feats of greatness all by yourself wasn’t enough, players may also choose to adventure with a friend over the internet. Having a multiplayer option in an Action / RPG is always a huge bonus and it enhances the gameplay while extending the replay value. I didn’t get a chance to play a multiplayer game with another player but the options and features are there and they make it very simple to jump into a game with a friend for some co-operative fun.

All of this questing, combat, and conjuring is done using a very easy point and click interface. Simply left click on an area in the playing field and voila, you’ll move to that location. Interacting with NPC characters is done in the same way. Just move the mouse cursor over the character you wish to speak with and click. Combat is just as simple, aim for the enemy you want to attack and when the cursor changes to a sword icon just left click again. The mouse wheel zooms the camera in and out, while the right mouse button utilizes the special abilities and spells you have allocated. The controls are intuitive and make it very easy to get right into the game, even beginners and casual players will find that the controls are simple and friendly enough to get a handle on the gameplay.
