Diablo IV Open Beta Stats

Hot on the heels of the recent open beta for Diablo IV, Blizzard Entertainment brings us some assorted stats highlighting the smashing success of this demon-slaying weekend. With roughly 62 million hours played across all participating accounts, this apparently was the largest beta ever for the Diablo franchise.

Perhaps somewhat surprising for all the Barbarian and Amazon (represented in Diablo IV by the Rogue class) enthusiasts out there, the most popular classes in this beta were the Sorcerer and the Necromancer. And other than that, it’s all impressively large numbers.
