Most reports are in French, but game.co.uk has the scoop on the UK release.

BREAKING NEWS: The Human Revolution begins 26th August 2011!

The prequel to the Millenium Game of the Year, widely recognised as one of the best genre-bending story-driven RPG Shooters ever, Deus Ex: Human Revolution has a lot to live up to – and it’s all set to do just that.

Human Revolution is set during a time of unsettling change, rapid evolution and extreme danger, where breakthroughs in science have led to mechanical augmentations being fitted to human bodies, and debate has turned into protests, edging to the brink of civil unrest.

Playing as Adam Jensen, you’ll utilise the power of these unnatural enhancements to the fullest in a story that will twist mortality around gameplay; choice around consequence, and take you to the heart of a conspiracy which will affect the whole world.

Welcome to the revolution…
