Deus Ex: Human Revolution Magazine Reviews

Those of you who subscribe to the Official Xbox Magazine or the Official PlayStation Magazine have new reviews of Eidos Montreal’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution to look forward to, with the former handing out a perfect 10/10 and the latter slapping the game with a still-reasonable 8/10. CVG goes on to describe why OPM went with a lower number:

Critic Leon Hurley describes the game as an interesting mix of stealth, action, RPG and story – but manages to pull it off with aplomb… for the most part.

OPM concludes that the game does the Deus Ex series “proud” with an absorbing world for you to explore and commends it for giving gamers adequate freedom of choice.

Slight gripes come when discussing background characters “cycling routines”, frustrating boss fights and long loading screens that apparently break the mood.

Overall, though, the PS3 Deus Ex: Human Revolution review gives the two thumbs up. It compares the plot to a futuristic James Bond and further praises its lush art direction.
