Destination Games Article

Voodoo Extreme has added another article to its E3 coverage – a report from Richard Garriot about his recent venture, Destination Games. The article talks about the cancellation of UO2, who is backing Destination Games with funding, and what type of game Garriot and his crew are going to make first:

…Garriott and Long are convinced that he and his team can bring their vision of a second-generation online game to life. Even games like Shadowbane, Dark Age of Camelot, and Anarchy Online are considered to be (first generation) online games to Garriott, even though they will debut long after the original Ultima Online started. (Those guys haven’t done it before,) Long said (There are only a handful of people who have done it before.)
