Desslock Reviews Morrowind

GameSpot’s RPG guru, Desslock, has updated his news page with an informal review of Bethesda’s Morrowind, calling it one of the best RPGs ever. A snippet:

I’ve been lionizing Morrowind since I saw my first build of the game. After viewing the game at last year’s E3, I concluded that it was a “surprisingly easy pick for RPG of the 2001 E3”. If anything, the final release of the game has exceeded my expectations. It’s easily the best RPG since Baldur’s Gate II (and a very different game from that one), the best Elder Scrolls game and one of the best RPGs ever. Kudos to Todd Howard, Ken Rolston and the rest of Bethesda’s development team for both designing one of the most ambitious RPGs yet and having the skill to implement that design successfully.
