DAoC Preview @ GameSpy

GameSpy has put together a very lengthy preview of Mythic’s upcoming MMORPG, Dark Age of Camelot. If you haven’t been involved in the beta of the game, this preview will give you a good understanding of how the game works. Here’s a taste:

DaoC is probably one of the largest game worlds I have ever traversed. Going from town to town can take anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours. Unlike UO, there’s only one mode of transportation, and that’s the two feet your god of choice gave you. This is a good thing at this early stage of development because it gives players a real indication of just how massive each realm is. The worlds are just amazingly huge, detailed, and in some areas — downright dangerous.
