Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition New Release Date Announced

Evolve PR’s Tom Ohle has just sent us a press release announcing that the PR and Marketing company is going to collaborate with Beamdog and Overhaul Games for Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, and more importantly, that the team is now targeting a November 28th release for all platforms.

Hey, Look at That: I’m Working on Baldur’s Gate Again

Well, well, serendipity… you sure work in interesting ways. About 12 years ago I started my career at BioWare, right at the tail end of the mother of all expansion packs, Baldur’s Gate II: Throne of Bhaal. My next project there was Neverwinter Nights, on which the venerable Trent Oster was project lead.

And here we are, over a decade later, reunited, and it feels so good. We’re going to be helping Trent and the Overhaul Games team as they lead up to the currently-planned-for-November-28th launch of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition on PC, Mac, iOS and (soon after) Android.

This is a huge step for tablet gaming — Baldur’s freaking Gate on iPad/Android tablets seems like a crazy wet dream…
