Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance Review

Stratos Group has written a review of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, giving the GameCube version of the game an overall score of 3.8/5.0. Their conclusion:

I can say with absolute confidence and honesty that Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is my favorite of all the hack n’ slash games and that includes Diablo. It’s deeper, prettier and generally more fun even with a handful of significant flaws. It isn’t a completely new experience compared to the similar games that have come before it, but it’s more improved than not and that is what I feel matters. I’m only a little bit sad that Interplay hasn’t announced a GameCube port for the upcoming sequel yet.
