Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Sequel Released on GOG

Beamdog’s remasters of the Baldur’s Gate titles have been a conspicuous absence on GOG for a while, but the void has been filled as of today, as both Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition can now be bought from the old-school-focused digital gaming storefront. Normally the titles would sell separately for €15,89/$19.99 and €19,89/$24.99, and together for €35,78/$44.98, but the 50% off launch promotion brings them to a more affordable €7,99/$9.99, €9.99/$12.49, and €17,98/$22.48.

In case you’re wondering, I’ll also note that this doesn’t mean that the original versions of the Baldur’s Gate titles have been dropped, but it probably means that we’ll get Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition on GOG’s store too in the near future.
