Auto Assault Week

NCsoft and 1Up have teamed up for a week’s worth of Auto Assault competitions, and are offering 14-day trials to the post-apocalyptic MMORPG so everyone can participate. Here’s what to expect:

9/12 — 1UP Scavenger Hunt – Every person that enters the initial starter highways from 9/12 to 9/15 will get a special 1UP Scavenger hunt mission. Complete the mission and get a 1UP branded medal. Note that the medal isn’t just some trinket. It gives a health bonus.

9/15 — 1UP Meet & Greet – Starting at 3pm PST (5pm CST; 6pm EST), Scott Sharkey and James Mielke will be road tripping through the wasteland, giving out items, and hyping Saturday’s tournament.

9/16 — 1UP Tournament – For players levels 10-15, starting at 4pm PST (6pm CST; 7pm EST). 1UP is holding a tournament in Auto Assault’s in-game arenas. Everyone who participates will receive an awesome 1UP branded hood ornament (especially unsafe for pedestrians). The first rounds are a qualifying tournament where players beat down each other for the chance to PWN those bastardly 1UP editors, Mielke and Sharkey. This tournament starts at 4pm PST (6pm CST; 7pm; EST). Winners will recieve a super-snazzy one-of-a-kind 1UP chassis.
