ATOM RPG Early Access Patch 0.6.0a Available

The developers behind the post-apocalyptic ATOM RPG, now that it’s in Early Access, are working hard in order to polish the game up and make it as bug-free as possible before the full release. Already, they have a patch out that focuses on NPC interactions and general bug fixing. Here’s the changelog:

  • Now when you leave Peregon you won’t be teleported near the Krasnoznamenny.
  • Now if you kill the fisherman or the shepherd in Otradnoye the villagers won’t become automatically hostile.
  • The hunter Nikodim (one of the random NPCs that can appear in the village during the day) now sells wares that he should have selled.
  • Now NPCs that belong to a faction will just scold you after the first failed pickpocketing attempt and attack after the second. Lonely characters will attack after the first fail.
  • We rebalanced the drinks in the game. Now you can get so drunk that the Waste dwellers will start to avoid you 🙂
  • Fixed heroes answers some of which were cut short in the dialogues.
  • Fixed problem when certain characters were speaking with lines of completely different characters.
  • Fixed the dialogue with doc Mikoyan in the village.
  • Fixed the scavengers special encounter.
  • Fixed the cutscene when you romance Dunya in the Factory.
  • Fixed the bug with a wolf extermination quest in the Roaring forest.
  • Better ‘next turn’ button in the battles.
  • We added the Help with the controls in the game! It’s a temporary solution before we make proper Options.
  • Now you can zoom out a bit more (10% to be exact) and also the range of visibility is fixed.
  • Changed loot balance in Bunker 317.

And apart from that, there’s also a temporary fix in place for the issue that makes the game freeze on alt-tabbing or switching between monitors. Check out this post for instructions.
