Assassin’s Creed Origins Update and DLC Coming End of January

Assassin’s Creed Origins is set to bring out its first DLC at the end of January. Ubisoft announced a free update for the game too which will include a bunch of new features to the game. Perhaps the biggest addition is the new quest line which is celebrating the arrival of the new DLC, The Hidden Ones. Whether the new quest will reflect what the DLC will bring to the game, we will have to wait and see. There is also an update to the Heka chests item pool. They have promised additional items from the Nightmare, First Civilisation, Gladiator and Wacky packs added to the pool. There will also be the option to sell outfits in weaver shops. All of this, is in the free, yes free, update.

The Hidden Ones

As far as we know, this DLC will be available via the Season Pass. There does not seem to be an option (as of yet) that allows you to purchase the DLC separately. The Hidden Ones takes place many years after the story of the main game. It will feature Bayek fighting against the Romans in a brand new region, adding to the already expansive map. The level cap will also be increased from 40 to 45, meaning you can become even more of a bad-ass assassin than you already are.

Even more content coming in the next weeks

Adding to this already great month there will also be the return of The Trial of the Gods events. This will allow players to challenge themselves against Anubis (Jan 9-16) and Sobek (Jan 22-30). There will also be new ear added to the in game store throughout the month. The Almighty pack will be available from January 16th and the For Honor pack will be out by January 30th. The Harlequin and Chop-Chop items will be available some time before the end of the month.

With so much content coming out this month, there is a lot to be excited about. The Hidden Ones DLC looks very promising, with plenty of yummy features, packs and events following right behind it, January is looking to be a good month for AC fans.
