Architecture Comments.

Douglas ‘Dark Jedi’ Shuler recently commented on Elf and Dryad architecture and the differences between them.

The Elven architecture has pretty much been built, and work is progressingon the Dryads even now. Some stuff has been modified from the FAQ as the game continues to evolve. Just to reiterate;
ELVES;
The Elves of Horizons are based around the ‘high-elf’ model. They are not very interested in worldly matters or the mundane, and prefer to spend their time focusing on Celestial matters and the arcane. They are keenly interested in the relationships between stars, planets, and constellations, and see their Dryad cousins as primitive. They wear exotic silks and satins, and prefer colors found in the evening sky, such as blue, violet, and purple. They spend their time in marble and crystal halls, quietly discussing prophecy and the rotations of heavenly bodies. They are wise about a great many things, though they often come off as arrogant.

DRYADS;
Dryads are the opposite to Elves in regard to nature. They value trees immensely, and would rather die than cut a living tree. They know the ways of the woods better than any other, and use their magics to shape the forests to their whims. They wear leaves, acorns, and twigs, and dress in natural colors such as green and brown. They spend their time hunting, playing with the fauna, and chasing fireflies. They are youthful and puckish.

Hope that helps.

Great! Now where’s my screenshot for said architecture 😉
