Talk to Grace Pinch-Smedley

To start the quest The Lost Astrolabe, you need to speak to Grace Pinch-Smedley. To reach her, head over to Lower Hogsfield. Just before you reach the hamlet, go east to go onto a bridge. She will be on a connected bridge going out to the lake around halfway. Talking to her (with playstation square button/button xbox x v2) will begin The Lost Astrolabe, and she will ask for your help — she needs you to swim out into the lake and search for an astrolabe that sank some time ago.

Finding the Astrolabe

Hop into the lake and start swimming northeast. Continue forward until you reach the purple spot on your minimap, and you will notice 5 white patches bubbling in the lake. The astrolabe will always be in the last patch that you examine, so you can go through these in any order — you’ll get some extra items along the way as well, such as gear and potions.

Talk to Grace

Return to Grace, who will be in the same spot as when you started the quest. Talk to her to give her the astrolabe, though you can either make her pay to have it, or keep it for yourself altogether.

After speaking with her, you will have completed The Lost Astrolabe, a new mask, and a little bit of extra loot!
