In Hogwarts Legacy, crafting is a big part of the game, however, not all the stations you will find in the Room of Requirement can actually be considered Crafting Stations. In this guide we will specifically focus on those that are. Crafting Stations are the workbenches that do not merely serve as decor — instead, they will allow you to grow resources and craft or improve items, to prepare for the adventures headed your way!
Crafting in Hogwarts Legacy is pretty simple and easy to grasp, but becomes quite engaging and addictive once you get into it: you will likely find yourself spending a considerable amount of time nurturing rare Plants, creating Fertilizer, chopping and refining Moonstones, brewing unusual Potions, as well as enchanting your Gear.
Just like any other construct in your Room of Requirement, every Crafting Station will be created with the Conjuring Spell. It is worth mentioning that you can’t use the Conjuring Spell outside of the Room of Requirement! (It would be crazy to see a student conjuring a Potion Station above a Dark Wizard’s head, wouldn’t it?)
(Note that you will need to complete The Room of Requirement quest before you can get access to the Room of Requirement.)
How to Unlock: Complete the Room of Requirement Quest

The Potion Station is one of the first Spellcrafts given to you when you first visit Hogsmeade. Once you complete the Room of Requirement quest, it will be the first Crafting Station that you will place in the Room of Requirement, aside from the already existing Desk of Description.
The Potion Station allows you to brew up to 6 types of potions (7 if you Pre-Order the game).
Potion Stations come in different variants, ranging from Small Potion Stations, Medium Potion Stations, and up to T-Shapped Potion Stations.
Each Potion takes a certain amount of time to brew, and the duration varies from Potion to Potion.

The Potting Table allows you to grow useful Plants, required for brewing Potions or of the type that can be used in Combat.
Each Plant has a different growth duration depending on whether it is a basic plant or an advanced one. The typical duration for basic plants is 10 minutes while the duration for advanced ones is 15 minutes. You do not have to wait in the Room of Requirement for the Plants to grow.
Potting Tables come in different variants, ranging from Potting Tables with Small Pots, Potting Tables with Medium Pots, and Potting Tables with Large Pots. You will want to buy recipes for a Potting Table with more pots as soon as possible to increase Plant production.
