How to Respec Skills – Gotham Knights

Let’s get this out of the way immediately: there is no way to respec your Skill Trees in Gotham Knights. Once you have spent your skill points, there is no taking them back.

While this may be frustrating, especially for those of us who invested in Skills before we knew what would be best, you shouldn’t worry too much about it. The game rewards you with skill points through a variety of means, allowing you to get most Skills In your first playthrough, so long as you are completing side missions. What’s more, none of the Skills on offer for any character radically alter play. While some will make you more effective with a given character, the reality is that Momentum Abilities, gear upgrades, and just plain practice will all do more for you than individual Skills will.

No respec here, unfortunately

And, if you want to respec using all the Skill Points you’ve earned, you should know that these Points are spent individually, for each character, even though they are earned collectively. What this means in practice is that switching characters while in the Belfry can operate similar to a limited-use respec, letting you invest all the points you’ve earned however you’d like for the new character. It could even be argued that this is a great thing to do, since it will allow you to experience different parts of the game.

Though you can’t respec your Skill Trees, we hope that this guide has been helpful in giving you some other paths to succeed. After all, Gotham needs you, vigilante!
