Skating on Thin Ice – Freedom Force Mission

Ah, Christmas in July. Mentor and Minuteman bust through the frozen gate of Patriot Park to investigate the unusual weather, and to later make snow angels. Following the red arrows will lead you around the park to the various frozen civilians, all guarded by groups of Ice Troopers. These frosty foes are best handled with Minuteman rushing in with melee attacks and Mentor tossing some mind blanks, all while doing their best to avoid being turned into popsicles by the ice beams. Be sure to stop the vandals on the street to the left of the park from destroying the car for a nice little Christmas bonus.

The Ice Queen is standing on a hill in the park towards the top of the map. Have Minuteman give her a few good overpowered smacks, toss on a couple Psyche Slashes for good measure, and she’ll crumble like Yakov Smirnoff’s career. Once you defeat and interrogate her, the mission ends.

   – Break the man out of the ice (20 prestige points)
   – Save the civilians frozen in ice (40 prestige points)
   – Knock out the Ice Queen (60 prestige points)
