Bethesda Files Application for “Nuka Cola” Trademark

Joystiq reports that Bethesda has recently filed three applications for the “Nuka Cola” trademark, for use in computer games and clothing. While, understandably, most reactions here will involve the words “Fallout” and “4”, I have to note that, in the past, other companies and people have used the Nuka Cola name to make a profit, so I’d guess Bethesda is simply protecting itself on this front.

Either way, I suppose this is worth keeping an eye on, especially considering The Elder Scrolls Online has been released, and Bethesda can finally turn its full PR attention to a new title.
