The Beetle Hunt – Fable II

This guide will help you complete The Beetle Hunt quest in Fable II.

The Beetle Hunt Walkthrough

Across the way from Betty and Pete is a large warehouse with a man named Balthazar standing outside of it. For whatever reason, Balthazar is deathly afraid of beetles, and it just so happens that his warehouse is infested with them. He’ll give you a single gold coin if you do some exterminating for him.

Once inside, you’ll be approached by Arfur (the shady fellow in the hat that spoke to Rose earlier), who tells you that Balthazar owes some protection money to Nicky the Nickname. As a form of retaliation, the man wants you to smash Balthazar’s stock in exchange for a gold piece. If you want to stick to a path of righteousness,

just ignore the man and go upstairs to shoot the beetles. If you find yourself feeling a little nefarious, stay downstairs and smash the crates and barrels with your pathetic little sword.

Killing the beetles earns you two Good points, while smashing the stock earns you a single Evil point. Either way, though, you get your much-needed gold coin.
