Fable – New Narrative Lead Revealed

For the last couple of years, Playground Games has been working on a new entry in the Fable series. And thanks to some digging by PC Gamer, we now know that Anna Megill will be serving as the project’s narrative lead. Prior to this, she used to be the game’s lead writer, and before that, she worked on a number of high-profile projects including Dishonored, Control, and Guild Wars.

Here’s a quick statement clarifying this promotion that isn’t really a promotion:

Delighted to say that I have a new title. I’m now Narrative Lead on Fable, instead of Lead Writer. It’s not really a promotion, more a reflection of the job I’ve actually been doing. Still, it’s nice to get that acknowledgment for my work. And it’s still a thrill to come in every day and see what we’re creating. Can’t wait to share it!
