1 – Mage Scrolls

On the ground here, you’ll find a Mage Scroll of Improved Invisibility, a Mage Scroll of Invisibility 10′ Radius, a Mage Scroll of Remove Curse, a Mage Scroll of Slow, and a Mage Scroll of Water Breathing.

2 – Rex

Inside this building, you’ll meet the saurial cleric Rex. He’ll tell you that he’s searching for the Codex of Planes, and he’ll offer to join your party. Even if you don’t want Rex, you might want to add him to your party briefly so you can take his Bracers of Protection +2.

3 – Shelf

Inside the shelf here, you’ll find a Cleric Scroll of Cure Light Wounds, two Cleric Scrolls of Cure Serious Wounds, a Mage Scroll of Flesh to Stone, a Mage Scroll of Hold Monster, and a Mage Scroll of Hold Undead.

4 – Loot

On the ground here, you’ll find a Black Hammer +3 (a thrown weapon that always returns to the user), a Blessed Holy Symbol (which allows a cleric to memorize an extra spell per level), a Shield +3, and Splint Mail. If you just added Rex (#2), this is all good stuff for him.

5 – Loot

On the ground here, you’ll find a Helm of Underwater Breathing, a Mace -3, a Mace +2, Plate Mail -2, Plate Mail +3, and a Shield. Also somewhere nearby, one of the chimeras guarding the loot will drop a Ring of Feather Falling when it dies.

6 – Apple Trees

At this spot, you’ll discover four apple trees surrounding a chimera statue. You can claim one or more Apples from each tree (by clicking on them), but doing so will cause the chimera to wake up and attack you. Apples satisfy hunger just like Rations.

7 – Shielded Shelf / Crystal Key

At this spot, you’ll discover a shelf shielded by magic. To remove the shield, you’ll need to cast Dispel Magic on it. Inside the shelf, you’ll find a Crystal Key, two Mage Scrolls of Hold Person, a Mage Scroll of Hold Undead, a Mage Scroll of Protection from Paralysis, and a Ring of Fire Resistance. You’ll need the Crystal Key in the Temple Quarter Ruins (you can also use it in the Mages’ Guild, but you’ll find a second Crystal Key there).

Also on the ground in front of the shelf, you’ll find the Short Sword +3 “Frostbite.”

Exits

1. Path back to the Forest Trail.
2. Exit to the Temple Quarter Ruins.
3. Entrance to the Mages’ Guild.
