This spell snuffs out the victim’s life force. If successful, the victim can be neither raised nor resurrected. The caster utters the Finger of Death spell incantation, points his or her finger at the creature to be slain, and (with luck) slays the creature. If the creature does not die, it suffers 3-17 points of damage.
