This spell causes the target to vanish from sight. The invisible character remains unseen, even if he attacks with a weapon or spell. The invisibility makes the character more difficult to hit with an attack. A True Seeing spell counters this spell. Certain powerful monsters can sense invisible characters, or even see them outright.
