History: The Pet Rufous Mudcrab is nearly identical to the Pet Nibenay Mudcrab (just a different color). The Rufous Mudcrab was accidentally sent at launch to players who purchased the digital Imperial Edition, and was originally intended to be a purchasable item in-store. Whiterun Wolfhound

Proper Name: Whiterun Wolfhound
More Commonly Known As: Dog
History: The Whiterun Wolfhound was an Elder Scrolls Online  bonus for players who purchased the game’s Imperial Edition on Steam. There was some controversy regarding this exclusive Steam release pet among current subscribers who had no means to obtain the Wolfhound (please see The Elder Scrolls Online forum thread here).

Update: The Whiterun Wolfhound was later made available to players who purchased the Symbiote Studios Nord figurine.

History: The Bristlegut Piglet was given as a special bonus to QuakeCon and PAX Prime 2014 attendees. This limited edition pet can be purchased from various sellers on eBay.
