Leurik – Eschalon: Book I Quest

Background

You’ll receive this quest from Leurik in North Parish (#1) if you tell him honestly why you need to enter the Family Crypt (for the main quest Strange Amulet), and if you agree to exterminate the Fanged Salamanders in his basement (#2) for him.

Walkthrough

Leurik’s basement isn’t very big, and you won’t find any convenient doorways in it to bottleneck the salamanders. So, depending on your level, you might want to fight near the staircase so you can run back upstairs and heal if you need to. Otherwise, you’ll just need to kill the nine salamanders in the basement and then return to Leurik. When you do, you’ll receive the Crypt Key and 150 xp.

Note: You can also get the Crypt Key by stealing it from the cabinet in Leurik’s bedroom (#3).
