Elden Ring Is Now Playable on PC

Elden Ring, the highly anticipated game from FromSoftware, is now playable!

In this new soulslike fantasy action-RPG, travel across the Lands Between, a world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki the creator of the Dark Souls video game series, and George R. R. Martin the author of A Song of Ice and Fire. Play as the Tarnished, a dead being that yet lives, and reclaim the shattered pieces of the Elden Ring from powerful foes, to become the Elden Lord. On your journey, you will meet characters and adversaries with their own motivations for helping or hindering your progress, as well as the fearsome creatures populating the Lands Between.

Elden Ring is the culmination of years of experience from developing the Soulsborne series. While borrowing mechanics and systems from the previous entries by FromSoftware (such as stealth from Sekiro), Elden Ring is set to push their trademark style forward with new additions such as a vast open world, in-game maps to help you navigate, and further improvements to the formula that gave birth to the soulslike genre.

Elden Ring is available for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and on PC via Steam. While it is now playable on PC, it should become playable on consoles a few hours later, at GMT Midnight, February 25th.
