The Recipe for the Potion of Power – Drakensang: The Dark Eye Quest

1 – Alchemist Auralia

Background

You’ll receive this quest from Alchemist Auralia when you talk to her in the Ducal Citadel in Ferdok (#1).

Walkthrough

Auralia will tell you that she knows of an “alchemical masterwork,” but that the recipe she has for it doesn’t work. She’ll then ask you to look for someone who might be able to fix the recipe. You won’t find anyone for this until Chapter 7 when you reach Tallon.

In Tallon, during the quest Marauders, you’ll meet a leprechaun with a passion for alchemy. If you show it the recipe, then it will figure out the mistake right away, and it will correct it for you. You’ll also receive 50 experience points.

Then when you return to Auralia, you’ll receive 50 more experience points, and Auralia will become available as a companion. Better yet, the leprechaun will take over Auralia’s stall, and it will offer you a new selection of items, including some recipes.

Note: To learn the Recipe for Potion of Power, you’ll need to add Auralia to your party. She’ll inscribe that recipe plus several others into your recipe book.
