Background

You’ll trigger this quest when you spend 1000 ducats to purchase a ship from the boat merchant (#1).

Walkthrough

After taking your money, the boat merchant will reveal that you just bought your very own rowboat. “Size isn’t everything!” When you demand your money back, the merchant will flee the district and head to Praios Square, where he’ll meet up with the shady character (#2) to brag about the deal he just made. When you catch up with the boat maerchant there, you’ll automatically convince him to return your money to you (with no social talents required), and he’ll even let you keep the boat. You’ll also earn 15 experience points.
