Unintentional Consequences – Dragon Age: Origins Quest

This guide will walk you through the “Unintentional Consequences” quest in Dragon Age: Origins. We will go through all the steps to complete this mission.

Background

You can receive this quest from any of the chanter’s boards, but only after you’ve summoned Trickster Whim at the Circle Tower.

Unintentional Consequences

For this quest you’ll need to track down Trickster Whim, who has been “killing the good merchants who support our towns in these trying times.” You’ll find him during a random encounter on the world map, at a roadside stop.

When you approach Trickster Whim, he’ll summon four additional Trickster Whims, and they’ll all attack you. The summoned Whims aren’t all that tough, so take them down quickly and then concentrate on the real Whim. When he dies, he’ll drop Magus War Boots and more.

To complete the quest, you’ll need to return to an available chanter’s board representative (in Redcliffe or the Denerim Market District), but you won’t receive a reward for your efforts.
