The Mage Asunder

You’ll have two goals in the Mage Asunder: to meet up with the cursed dreamer (#9) to learn golem form, and to defeat the demon Slavren (#20). Killing Slavren will unlock this part of the Fade.

2 – Massive Doors

You’ll need to switch to golem form (see #9) to break open these doors.

3 – Fonts of Strength

Clicking on these fonts will permanently add +1 to your strength attribute.

4 – Bookcase

Clicking on the bookcase will give you the Magic and Religion codex entry for Hierarchy of the Circle.

5 – Bookcase

Clicking on the bookcase will give you the Magic and Religion codex entry for History of the Circle.

6 – Essence of Magic

Clicking on the essence will permanently add +1 to your magic attribute. You’ll need to be in spirit form to use the essence.

7 – Flames

You’ll need to be in burning man form to pass through these flames.

8 – Mages

You’ll face six mages in this room. If you’re not a spellcaster yourself, then the best way to deal with them is to switch to burning man form (which is available from The Burning Tower). This will allow you to stand near the door to the room and hit half of the mages with a fireball, drawing them (and only them) to you, and splitting the fight into two parts.

9 – Book

Reading the book will give you the Magic and Religion codex entry for The Cardinal Rules of Magic.

10 – Landing

When you reach the landing you’ll find a cursed dreamer being attacked by some chantry priests and a pair of stone golems. The dreamer is tough, so feel free to use area-effect spells even if he’s in the way. After the battle, the dreamer will teach you golem form.

13 – School of Primal

14 – Essence of Willpower

Clicking on the essence will permanently add +1 to your willpower attribute.

15 – School of Creation

If you click on the pile of books here then you’ll learn the Magic and Religion codex entry for The Four Schools of Magic: Creation.

16 – School of Entropy

If you click on the pile of books here then you’ll learn the Magic and Religion codex entry for The Four Schools of Magic: Entropy.

17 – Essence of Dexterity

Clicking on the essence will permanently add +1 to your dexterity attribute.

18 – Essence of Cunning

Clicking on the essence will permanently add +1 to your cunning attribute.

19 – Essences

In this room you’ll find an essence of dexterity and an essence of constitution. Clicking on the essences will permanently add +1 to your dexterity and constitution attributes.
