Friends of Red Jenny – Dragon Age: Origins Quest

This guide will walk you through the “Friends of Red Jenny” quest in Dragon Age: Origins. We will go through all the steps to complete this mission.

Background

When you meet up with Zevran on the world map, one of the assassins in the encounter will drop a letter that will trigger this quest. Picking up the letter will also give you the Quest-Related codex entry for Friends of Red Jenny.

When you read the letter, you’ll discover that the assassin had been contracted to steal a Small Painted Box from the Circle Tower, and to deliver it to a certain door in the Denerim Market District. You’ll find the box in First Enchanter Irving’s office in the Senior Mage Quarters of the tower. You’ll find the door in the Denerim Market District near the Wonders of Thedas shop.

When you knock on the door, if you say anything, then the door will simply close. If you hand over the box, then a “large shadow” will accept it, and you’ll receive 3 sovereigns and 100 xp in return. You’ll never learn what the transaction was about, or what was in the box.
