Caravan Down – Dragon Age: Origins Quest

This guide will walk you through the “Caravan Down” quest in Dragon Age: Origins. We will go through all the steps to complete this mission.

You can receive this quest from the chanter’s board in Redcliffe (which will only appear after you’ve saved the village from undead attacks).

Caravan Down

For this quest you’ll need to travel to a location called “Caravan” on the world map, and check to see if the caravans that were scheduled to pass through it actually survived. When you get there you’ll find that they didn’t, and then you’ll be attacked by half a dozen darkspawn, including a genlock alpha and two genlock emissaries. The emissaries are spellcasters, and so you should target them first.

After the battle, you won’t find much in the way of loot, either on the corpses of the darkspawn or in the remains of the caravans, but when you return to any of the chanter’s board representatives (in Lothering, Redcliffe, or the Denerim Market District), you’ll receive 2 sovereigns and 175 xp.
