Back Alley Justice – Dragon Age: Origins Quest

This guide will walk you through the “Back Alley Justice” quest in Dragon Age: Origins. We will go through all the steps to complete this mission.

Background

There are two ways to trigger this quest: by accepting it from the chanter’s board in the Denerim Market District, or by fighting any of the bandit groups involved in the quest.

Back Alley Justice

The job notice on the chanter’s board will decry all of the “footpads, muggers, and miscreants” who have been robbing people in the back alleys of Denerim, and you’ll be tasked with clearing them out of the Dark Alley, the Dirty Back Alley, and the Run-Down Back Street (all of which can be accessed from the Denerim map).

At each location, you’ll face about a dozen thugs, including a “yellow” gang leader. The thugs won’t drop much if anything when they die, but each of the leaders will drop a regular Health Poultice. After dispatching the bandits, when you return to any of the chanter’s board representatives (in Lothering, Redcliffe, or the Denerim Market District), you’ll receive 4 sovereigns and 175 xp.

I'm a huge gamer who especially loves the Final Fantasy series. I will play just about any game, especially if it has anything resembling a Dragoon.
