Tower of Crows Adventure: The Tower 2 – Dungeons & Dragons Tactics

Overview

1 – Arrival

Having ascended the stairs on the first floor of the tower, you’ll arrive on yet another floor that needs to be searched.


2 – Zombie

Your arrival on the second floor is met by a single Zombie. It’s just a small sampling of what’s to come…


3 – Tassar

The central chamber of this floor is inhabited by Tassar, a crazy old man who just so happens to be the last of the Svernkaegro noble line. Tassar claims to be four hundred years old, having kept himself from the unlife with magic. He no longer wishes to exist, though, and has choosen your party to end his life. Before the battle begins, he does at least tell you that the name “Athearorn” is a draconic name.

In addition to Tassar, you’re most likely going to catch the attention of the Zombies, Ghouls, and Wight from the side chambers when you enter this room. Since Tassar is a caster, I’d recommend taking him out first. If not, expect to be subjected to a barrage of spells while dealing with the undead. When the mage falls, you’ll earn 300 experience points per party member and will find his ring with the seal of the Svernkaegro. As it turns out, this is actually a magic item called Svernkaegro Seal that will increase a cleric or paladin’s chance of turning undead.

With the battle concluded, you’ll be brought to the “End of Adventure” screen. Afterward, a cutscene will display that shows your main character speaking to the Crow from Spiderspike Hollow. It will ask for your help in saving its mistress and tell you the password (“Elletherel”) needed to pass through the hollow’s eastern door.


4 – Undead and Chest

The Ghoul and Zombie that patrol this hallway will come to Tassar’s aid when you enter the central chamber. After you’ve dealt with all the resistance, you can search the unlocked chest for gold and a Potion of Invisibility.


5 – Undead and Chest

This hallway is home to a Wight, Ghoul, and Zombie that will also come to Tassar’s aid when you enter the central chamber. When they’ve all been cleaned up, pick, break, or Knock the locked chest to find a large amount of gold and a Potion of Barkskin +5.
