Tree Towers – Dungeons & Dragons Heroes

This guide provides information on a certain area of the Yuan-ti Wilds in Dungeons & Dragons Heroes. Along with the map and map legend, there is an overview of all the points of interest.

Overview

1 – ENTRANCE

After ascending the stairs in the King’s Fort, you’ll arrive in the Tree Towers here.

2 – YUAN-TI STATUE

This statue blocks impedes your path at this intersection, forcing you to have to go around throughout the “maze.” However, once you’ve hit all four pressure plates at areas #3, #4, #5, and #6, the statue will swivel and fire a beam of light and unlock the gate at area #7.

3 – RED PRESSURE PLATE

This is the second pressure plate you’ll want to step on in order to open the gate at area #7.

4 – BLUE PRESSURE PLATE

This is the third pressure plate you’ll want to step on in order to open the gate at area #7.

5 – YELLOW PRESSURE PLATE

This is the first pressure plate you’ll want to step on in order to open the gate at area #7.

6 – GREEN PRESSURE PLATE

This is the fourth pressure plate you’ll want to step on in order to open the gate at area #7.

7 – GATE & SOUL SHARD #10

When you first arrive in this area, you’ll have to battle a very powerful glowing Yuan-ti, along with several regular Yuan-ti. It proves to be a fairly difficult battle, but you’ll be able to snag the tenth Soul Shard of the game afterwards as a prize (which means your Ancestral Weapon is getting an upgrade unless you’ve missed a Soul Shard or two in the past).

At the far end of this circular area is a gate with four symbols written in front of it. The symbols depict each of the four pressure plates on this level, each marked with dots that determine which order it should be pressed. That order is: yellow, red, blue, and green. Make your way through areas #3, #4, #5, #6 and step on each pressure plate in the particular order to open the gate.

8 – EXIT TO INNER SANCTUM

Once you’ve unlocked the gate at area #7, head down this path to reach the Inner Sanctum.
