Tom, the Wannabe Adventurer – Divinity: Original Sin Quest

This is a quest available in the Cyseal region. You’ll receive this quest from Charlene in the Cyseal City‘s town hall (#1). This guide goes over each step for completion and any rewards that can be earned.

Walkthrough

Charlene will tell you that her brother Tom joined the Fabulous Five and went on a mission for them, but that he hasn’t been seen since. She’ll then ask you to look for him.

You’ll find Tom — or what’s left of him — during the quest The Fabulous Five. After defeating the Arhu SparkMaster 5000 in the Robot Cave (#2), you’ll discover five corpses around it, and one of them will be Tom. He’ll have Charlene’s Letter on him. You’ll need to read the letter to update the quest.

When you return to Charlene, you’ll have a choice to be Blunt (immunity to charm) or Considerate (charisma +1). If you tell Charlene the truth, then she won’t believe you, and you’ll earn 900 xp. If you lie, then she’ll believe you, and you’ll earn 1050 xp.
